Malaysian Model Walks Couture Balenciaga Show

Paris Couture Week kicked off last week for the Autumn/Winter 2021 season. And one of the most exciting moments included the return of Balenciaga, the first since the fashion house left haute couture in 1967.

Standing at 175cm tall, Lu has walked for notable labels like Kenzo and MGSM before. She has also appeared in various catalogues and advertisements for big beauty brands.

The Malaysian beauty has graced numerous fashion magazines and has appeared in international shows before. This however, remains to be extra significant as Balenciaga’s return to couture is a monumental occasion.

She got her big break in 2006 when director of Elite Model Management scouted her while looking for fresh faces.

We love more Chinese representation on the runways in these precarious times.
